Fall 2011 styles

Well, it's nearly officially autumn, and it's getting cooler - depending on where you live.  I don't know about you, but it puts me in the mood to high-tail it down to the thrift shop and bag up some fall deals.  I'm all excited to get out my boxes of "out-of-season" clothing packed away in the spring and see what cute things I forgot I had.  But while many things you can wear again and again, there are also those little things that you may want to add.  Welcome to Fall 2011 styles!

Hair -

The tousled look is in.  Loose braids, dishevelled waves and curls, ponytails.  The sleek and smooth will always be a classic, but this fall may be the time to simply tease it up a bit.

Yahoo Style is predicting what the hair-flare will be, also.  The "half up", and the deep part will go nicely, but stay away from the extremes, such as the "flash of color", or the "deliberate frizz" that you may think looks OK on the models, but will only make you shake your head in the years to come. Layering helps to keep one warm, and can boost one's style sense and look.  One thing that will prove to be "in" is the long-sleeved lace top.  This is less functional, as lace isn't as warm or comfortable as solid fabric,  but pair this with finger gloves, a cute tasseled hat, and a solid-t topped with a festive vest, jeans or corduroys, and tall furry boots, and your outfit will be the "fashion standard".
Also, "nature" prints, such as leaves, trees, and animals go well as the long-sleeved layering tools.

Fall Colors -

No one can take the orange, red, gold and brown out of fall.  So the rust reds, antique golds, classic browns, and burgundies will always be in, but lets look at some of the hot new looks.  The "retro" look is coming back in new style, so teal, floral gold, and pinky peach are the fall 2011-12 colors.  Tans, darker pinks, moss greens, plum purple and, of corse, greys and blacks, will look great this approaching season.

Shoes/Boots -

Moccasins are in, and will probably be paired with lace-up boots for a new style feel.  Cow-girl boots, high lace-ups, hikers boots, funky colors and patterns, and two tone heels are showing their faces

Autumn is all about nature, so why shouldn't your face reflect that beautiful, natural glow, while perhaps gracefully loosing your summer tan to the paler shades of the colder seasons.  The sweet, innocent look is just that - sweet and innocent, and is really the most attracting.

As the seasons change, make sure that you remember that God never does.  He is always good.
Your beauty and style should reflect that, and above all, adorn yourself with the joy and righteousness of the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."

Hebrews 13:8

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
